Im on holiday in Devon.
Im staying near Dawlish Warren and took the drone to the beach, but when i checked before flying there was an SSSI
I couldn’t work out if the sssi was in force 24/7 or seasonal ext so chose not to fly in the area just encase. I moved to the area free of any warnings and still managed to get a nice landscape shot of the family on the beach from a distance
Tonight the life guards did a fantastic show of emergency recovery to raise funds and due to the sssi i didn’t even contemplate flying and even if i did it would have been on the outskirts so not interfering
As i was watching it, a little neo type drone appeared right over the action, i couldn’t see the person flying it so assume it wasn’t by filmed by the organiser but it could have been, and I’m not implying he was flying out of line of site.
But with the current info how do i tell if he was flying incorrectly in sssi or if im missing air space as i can’t read the sssi right.
