Threatening? I thought loads of councils already had bylaws in place to prevent TOAL on council property, parks etc. Some of these are legacy laws, presumably from the steam age, that aren’t all that clear.
It’s an £80 fine for exercising your dog in a park off-leash in Waltham Forest, so £100 fine seems proportional.
When flying on the Lincolnshire coast over the summer I saw an RFZ on Drone Map set aside for a kite flying area. Could councils not create one of these within their boundaries?
Giving drone flyers a dedicated area to practice beginner manoeuvres would surely make flying safer for everyone. Maybe make them accessible only during off-peak hours if you have to?
Already banned by Sheffield City Council, have been for years. This isn’t news.
