Change of mind with drone purchase

I earlier posted about the thermal imaging drone however I have opted for the DJI Air 3s of which I am so impressed with, I have spoken to a tutor and I have opted to carry on with the thermal imagery course before I purchase one, I currently own the -
DJI mini pro 4 & the DJI Air 3s of which both I am very pleased with, I wanted to start imaging the cruise ships from Southampton and the Air 3s seems perfect for this !

All the best

Do you find the quality of photography with the Air 3s a lot better than the mini pro 4? I am considering a new drone for my photography business and have a mini pro 4 at the moment, which i have been using for the last few years - often flying in built up areas. I gather the new regs allow drones up to 900g to fly in built up areas at low speeds in UK and that it is not necessary to only look at sub 250g drones.

Hi Mylo

Yes the Mini pro 4 is fantastic in every detail in my view but the Air 3s is absolutely fantastic robust obviously heavier and fantastic photo shoots and with the added Panarama , the usual detail of an 150m horizontally. You must not fly closer to individual buildings than 50m horizontally applies, I have the A2cofc licence but normal regs do apply, I use the Air 3s for surveys but also it is fantastic over the water as I use it for cruise ship and topography reasons , all in all I would reccomend .
