I’ve been out of flying for 3 years, but now am coming back into the hobby. Previously I was planning to take an A2 CofC course, due to the strictness of the regulations at that time. Now I’m using a <250g drone, what are the benefits of the A2 category, and is it worth the extra time and expense?
An A2 CofC offers zero advantages if you are flying sub-250g.
Sub-250g can be flown in A1. Which is better than A2.

And with the proposed changes with the c1 over people it is less valuable.
