@Simon - Can I suggest the above?
The reason is that I and yourself are currently, like many other I’m sure, building a ‘Home Built’ drone. However, there are no named models under the Manufacturer 'Home Built.
The 13" you’re building and the 11" I’m building have model names, can we have some sub-sections/Model Names in the home built category please?
Are there any other people who can suggest new model names in this Category? Or are people happy the way it is? Please vote below…

- Leave it as is
- Abstain/not voting
There is a custom category that I like. I feel it had prestige. I would allow a free text field as the second entry. My hanger would read:
Custom: GepRC Mark 5
Custom: Darwin babyape
Custom: SpeedyBee Mario 8
Custom: Betafpv Pavo Pico
You’ll never keep on top of all the home built quads and each is different. I have 2 Pavos, both different.

So while you don’t like the idea of new subs, making the change to allow free text would be a welcome option?
This could even be subject to approval before being made public, although that may involve loads of admin/moderator time
Surely a regex or lookup could help here. I get that free text is a pain but managing every frame combo seems off to me.
Not really thought it through though…
If the name only means something to the owner, I can’t see the point.

Curently you cant add a custom build or somthing like a babbyape as darwinfpv not in the list
Doesn’t adding in “Custom” work for this?
Also - if there is a brand that we don’t have, you can always suggest it be added in this area.
Admittedly I have a backlog to approve!
Try this a few weeks ago and also asked for darwinfpv to be added but no luck.

Yes the first pic shows what was entered the second pic is after pressing the button.
Nothing else happens.
Tried changing the name and with either missing but no go im afraid.
