I had the use of the entire floor of an office building for a day.
Lots of pillars, tight corners, corridors and other obstacles.
On the upside, my ability to fly the Mini 3 Pro has seriously improved.
Unfortunately I crashed at least four times and wrote off the gimbal. And possibly the front sensors.
Without the camera as a distraction I carried on for another hour and didn’t crash once.
Regret? Some… I’ve sent it off for a repair quote and we’ll see if that changes.
I’ve spent some serious cash on reparing Canon lenses for work (800 quid this year so far), so hopefully this will be a drop in the ocean by comparison.

Have you asked DroneDoctor.co.uk for a quote? They can actually repair them, as against just replacing. And our members get 10% discount.

Hi Simon,
Yes, I sent it to the Doctor. Didn’t know about the discount, that’s very nice.

I got a good quote from them (out of office hours too - rockstars!). Looks like we’ll be back in the sky before Xmas, fingers crossed. Or, more likely, in a resellable condition.
I’m seriously thinking of upgrading to an Air 3S after Christmas.
I keep getting photography gigs and thinking in terms of drone shots, then realising I can’t really hand in something shot on the DJI M3P.
I’ve got a lovely modern jazz album project that’s calling out for a nighttime cityscape. Maybe the budget will stretch to a rental?
