Hi all, I have just bought an Avata 2 and signed up today although I have been flying the mini pro 4 now for a while. The question is id like to keep everything above bored and legal while flying so id like to do my A2 CofC. I’m based in Northern Ireland, would anyone know of anyone in Northern Ireland that could offer this? Thank you in advanced.
There are a few Drone training providers in NI for the A2 CofC but surely you could do it with UAV Academy and get the discount from here? Not sure it really matters? When I call my BB provider I get through to NI but I am in England - so surely you can do a online course and it apply to NI?
why are you asking if it can be taken in NI when its an Online course and exam> ? As a member on here you get a massive discount with UAVhub which is a great course
You can do an A2 CofC with UAV Academy and get 50% off as an FPV UK member. It’s online and you can do it from anywhere.
Likewise, you can do the same thing with UAVHUB and get 30% discount.

Sorry guys if that came across stupid, i thought that there was a practical exam needed done in the presence of an examiner hence why i asking, but if it can all be done online happy days, thank you for your help

Gotcha, yeah.
Our own FPV UK Certificate of Competency: Practical is a practical course and with that you do meet with an examiner and do it in person. That is different to an CAA A2 CofC though.
Not at all. I was under the impression the A2 CofC was done with an actual examiner - But it’s actually just some AI program watching you so was not as stressful as I thought it would be
