I’ve been a photographer for various UK theatre companies for over 15 years.
During Covid I unleashed my inner tinkerer and begun my love for flying camera drones and aerial photography.
Since then I’ve also discovered the world of pure flying, and I love FPV, whether freestyle or cinematic.
I live in a suburb of London, which is a tricky area for safe and legal flying because it’s mostly residential and I have a drone which needs to fly in the A3 Open category and keep away from people and buildings.
I’ve had to dive deep into the world of council bylaws, SSSI, RFZs and CAA regulations but have never been put off the hobby.
I’m currently building up my knowledge to take the A2 CofC and spending a lot of time in various simulators because I think pilot expertise is a huge part of safe flying. And I really can’t afford to crash right now!
