Wheelchair Flyers
Flying from a wheelchair is not impossible, finding places we can get access to is the biggest problem we all share. Wherever you fly, whatever you fly, just spare a moment’s thought for the disabled flyer. Whenever you access a new, or popular, site stop and think carefully, “Could I get here if I was in a wheelchair?”
Are there any steep slopes?
Is the ground nice and firm?
Will it still be firm after last night’s storm?
Is there anything I needed to climb over?
Did I have to cross any dodgy bridge?
Was there somewhere to park nearby?
Did I need to climb over anything?
Are they any accessible toilets (or wheelchair friendly bushes)?
Please share your thoughts - we like a challenge, but we suffer so many disappointments we really do appreciate your help directing us to our next adventure.
