Probably quicker to start afresh in CAD than to adapt an existing mesh, to be honest.
I bought a cheap one on Ali express for around a fiver, but it’s just vinyl-covered cardboard and is already cracking. It’s okay, and the high contrast black / yellow is easy to see. That is actually pretty irrelevant, though, as I just follow the homepoint down when landing.
Will definitely design my own so I can control the infill / weight. My drone pack is getting very heavy!

Since I last posted I started to volunteer at my local tool library and have been learning how to restore tools.
I have three nice nr4 Bailey planes in various states. They give an amazing finish, but omg you need strong arms and a decent level of fitness.
At the moment I’m looking for a bit brace and a set of augers and would love a router plane.
The best thing about these is that they are virtually silent, while my electric routers, planers and multitools are from the previous generation and are among my loudest tools.
Here’s a fallen leaf in watercolour, just in a sketchpad. Found the leaf out walking and brought it home…

Looks great. Your ability with colour is impressive and gives a great sense of volume to the leaf while keeping the colours vibrant.
