Hi all,
Recently picked up a dji lito x1.
I have looked over the pist regarding remote id but am still having an issue.
The drone is sub 250 but with accessories (or plus batteries) it goes over the 250 mark.
The drone tells me that my remote id is the wrong format and wont register it.
Any ideas ?
Im using the rc2 controller.
As far as I know plus, batteries are not available in the UK, so what country are you in? What exactly puts it over 249 grams and by how much?
Small point but when you type your number in there needs to be a - between the main number and the unique last 3 that you get issued.

Im in the uk.
Plus batteries are available here, dji sell them.
Puts the drone at 254g.
I realise that there isnt going to be a hoard of officials out there checking us out.
Most DJI Mini 5 Pros are actually over 249 grams, and my Mini 4 Pro is over the weight limit when I fly at night because I attach a green flashing strobe light. I’m not saying it’s right, but I’ve had loads of police encounters, and I’ve never had a problem.
@Challenger why would you add additional weight to your drone by fixing a green flashing strobe light when the mini 4pro already has the requirements to do this?
The CAA recommend requirements are that
Use a green flashing light when flying at night
If you fly a drone or model aircraft at night, your aircraft must have a green flashing light turned on. This will make it easier for other people and aircraft to spot your aircraft.
I am in the UK and also have a Lito X1, I do not even see the option to add this in the app?

In safety settings, advanced.
In the DJI Fly app I have gone to safety ->Advanced safety settings and I can not see the option. I am on app version 1.21.2 and Aircraft Firmware 01.00.0200
Unlike the Lito x1, which keeps its green lights on after take off, the mini 4 pro turns the lights off. There has not been an update to the Mini 4 Pro in ages and there is no option to keep the lights on, hence the strobe light.
Yup.. sorry, uas remote id, ubove the advanced settings.
The drone needs to be turned on.
Just a little update.. been online with dji for the last few hours.
They havent managed to rectify the issue and are on it with the tech team.
