Hello and welcome to drone Hub :waving_hand:

Nice video. I fly in Lincs. It’s pretty great when not too windy.
What’s your opinion on posting videos of yourself breaking the drone code? I always think: let the police do their own work, why make it easier for them?
I recently stopped myself posting a video of my drone making it 5km away from my radio, a personal record, when I realised that’s totally illegal.

Good to e-meet you! Genuine question: I maintain VLOS so what makes you think I have broken the code?

Caveat: I’ve noticed that on this site we don’t tend to ‘drone police’ each other, so this was just about the risk of posting the video on a public site. In the past, people have been caught after posting altitude records because they did this.
While VLOS is required by the CAA during camera drone flights, flying an FPV drone requires an observer.
I don’t know whether Lincs Police are particularly sharp at investigating this stuff. From my experience of living near Lincoln city centre as a teen and getting busted regularly for jaywalking across Nettleham Rd at night after work, and even being stopped for ‘hesitating’ outside the Cathedral, and also having my bezzie mate get arrested for stabbing the Bishop of Lincoln despite the fact that he was 15, I’d say they veer towards the nasty side policing.
Walking past Nettleham police headquarters yesterday, I noticed that they’d invested in fabricating a sign saying that the biggest open field in the village was their property, but that they were kindly allowing villagers to use it to walk dogs  :joy:
