Hi just joined and wanted to say hello. Pro photographer for many years but now trying out the aerial photography as a new challenge. Love it! DJI mini 4 K but looking at the new versions available.

Would you be interested in doing the FPV UK CofC Practical? That gives you some good basic skills in drone handling, and is a great basis on which to add your aerial photography skills.
1pm today will see the launch of the Mini 5 Pro, which should be interesting!

Will let you know about that. I have already done a lot of practical work and discovery. Busy putting our west coast of Scotland videos through an editor. The Sound track I have found is perfect so it’s onwards and upwards.

My mum lives outside Lincoln, in that little gap between the Scampton and Waddington RFZs! It’s where I’ve done most of my flying, although it is uncommonly windy. I’ve done some great flights over the Witham near Washingborough that I hope didn’t break any bylaws or disturb any SSSIs as I was too green to check this stuff back then.

Hi GVG, I do a lot of flying on the coast by Mablethorpe. Challenging off shore winds but behind the beach huts is Queens Park complete with boating lake and miniature railway. Worth a visit if you get a chance.

Yes, definitely. I don’t think I’ve ever flown on the Lincs coast. There are some restricted areas but generally the beaches tend to be quiet out of season and very promising.
