Hello. New member here. I am Alan Kennedy. I live in Durham City. I am now retired but I am a semi pro musician/composer and I write and play progressive rock music with a classical/celtic twist. I am also a very keen photographer having started at the age of around 15. I have always wanted to put music to video or vice versa, and since releasing my first album last year, I decided that my second album would have video for each track. So I got my first drone (DJI Mini 4 Pro) on 23 December 2025. I have been out between spells of bad weather for some practice and I have taken to it pretty well. Looking forward to making my first track movie.

The weather at the moment, right? I’m literally grabbing any flight time I can in between the rain, snow and wind, even if it’s only a few minutes
