Quick question after my Mini 2 issues with the RC Controller i had enough and splahed out on the MIni 5Pro. What an upgrade!!
My query is do I need to register it anywhere with FPVuk or CAA??

Hi and welcome to the forum…
No need to register the new toy, just make sure your OP ID is on it and you’re good to go, providing everything else is in place too. Weather, no no-fly zones etc…
However, you could add it to your Hangar in FPVUK just because it’s available…

@markbury Great choice, Mark! The Mini 5 Pro is a massive upgrade from the Mini 2—you’ll love it. 
Yes, you’ll still need your CAA Operator ID (if you use a camera, which the Mini 5 Pro has) and a valid Flyer ID unless you’re exempt. If you’ve already got them from flying your Mini 2, you can just use the same IDs—there’s no need to register the new drone separately.
FPV UK membership is optional, but it’s well worth it if you want Article 16 flying privileges, £5 million public liability insurance, and access to member benefits. Happy flying!
