New Drone added to MyHangar - GEPRC - DoMain 4.2 Analog Freestyle

The GEPRC DoMain4.2 Analog Freestyle FPV Drone is an impressive mid-size quad built for pilots who want a balance of agility, durability, and cinematic capability.

Info & Spec:
Its DeadCat frame design keeps props out of view, making footage cleaner and more immersive, while the robust carbon-and-aluminum construction feels solid during aggressive freestyle flying. The powerful 2105.5 motors and 6S setup deliver fast acceleration and responsive control, yet the drone remains stable and predictable in the air. The analog system keeps latency low and costs reasonable, making it a great option for freestyle enthusiasts who prioritise performance over HD video. Overall, it’s a capable, well-designed FPV drone with excellent versatility.

You went for the analogue version….great choice!!
I moved to digital for one of my builds. The next few were all analogue. There’s just something about the feel of analogue. Not sure if it’s the nostalgia or the OSD image.. but I have so much more fun without digital. And much more control in settings, I feel.
That’s a lovely looking frame too. Great buy and I hope you have all the fun!

I built a toy helicopter out of Meccano that looked just like that! I was about 8 years old at the time. It didn’t have as many propellors, there was no camera, it didn’t fly and all the parts were rusty! (All Meccano parts were rusty - even when you bought them new, back then, in the mid 1960s!)

 Okay, it is only in my mind’s eye that it looks just like your posh new drone, but it immediately stirred my memories. Yours looks like a pretty nifty bird - mine just resembled a heap of scrap metal!

Happy flying!
