I think Covid Lockdown was in place at the time but I was itching to try out my new DJI Mini 2. The NT owned tower was closed during this period but re-opened in 2022; it’s well worth a visit as you can climb to the top.
At the time, I didn’t have a good feel for the height of the tower or the surrounding trees, and with no obstacle avoidance, I was pretty nervous. When it went behind the tower, I was convinced I’d never see it again. 
But as this was my first proper drone flight, I was very pleased with how it went…
