Hi there,
I’m completely new to drones. Tomorrow is going to be the big day that I buy my drone. I’m pretty sure it will be the Avata 360. I live in Barnet on the London / Hertfordshire border.
Look forward to interacting with people on here.
All the best

The avata 360 is not a beginner drone; you would be better off with a Lito X1. FPV is a steep learning curve for an experienced flyer, so good luck. Be sure to let us know how you get on and welcome to the hub.

Hi there, To be honest I was sold on the 360 camera in it. I bought it with the RC2 controller so I won’t be going near FPV (if I ever do) for a long time yet. I also like the fact that it seems pretty sturdy and has the propeller guards.

I’ve seen complete newbies (with no prior drone experience), fly FPV using Avata 2 and goggles and motion controller. Someone else did the take off and landing, because it was a tight area, but a couple of different people flew the drone around quite proficiently.
I think the Avata 2 is remarkably good and easy to use. And I presume the Avata 360 is too.
I bought the Avata 360. Just waiting for my operator ID labels in the post. I ordered them through the store here. I’m going to take out my own insurance as well. Any recommended brokers for drones ?
We can supply DJI Care Refresh for the Avata 360 if that is of interest?
Thank you, I bought it through the FPV store
Welcome
You’ve picked a great drone to start with! The DJI Avata 2 is an awesome bit of kit and a brilliant way to get into FPV flying.
Loads of helpful people on here, so don’t be afraid to ask questions — we’ve all been there. Plenty of good flying spots around the London/Herts area too.
Enjoy the big purchase and welcome to the addiction!
