I have a DJI Phantom 2 that’s now on its third body in 12 years and thought I really ought to join in with everybody. The video has packed up on the Phantom for the second time and I really don’t fancy taking it apart again. So I’ve got myself a Mini 3 combo and finally got round to joining a forum! Hopefully I can put more in than I take out, but there’s always something else to learn…

Hi, I’m a new member here as well but also new to the drone hobby. I’ve inherited a phantom 2 vision plus but I’m finding it difficult to get info on an app that supports this vintage of drone. Could you ket me know which app you use. The drone is in mint condition and batteries had 80% charge after at least 4 years in storage. If i can find an app then I’ll look at the legal side and sort myself out with whatever is required but for now i just need to know if the phantom is usable. TIA
Hi Davie, Welcome to the Hub. The only thing I know about phantoms is what they look like, so I can’t help with that, however several of our members fly phantoms.

I have some links on a computer that’s currently under the desk. I’ll dig it out later in the week. SOMEWHERE on it I have links to a place with both PC and Mobile apps.

You(or anyone else reading this) should be able to download this small exe file for PC. If you run it, it displays links to almost anything that you might need for the Phantom2. It’s not mine and I haven’t verified all the links. I’ve used some and they worked well. Good luck!
Apparantly dronehub doesn’t allow links, so you’ll have to copy this manually.
