I currently live in Germany but will be moving back to the UK this Spring (hopefully). I’ve only just bought my Mini 4 Pro and it has the class C0 sticker which I understand is the equivalent of the UK0. I read that you can only fly the C class in the UK up to 31st December 2027?
My question is (at last) how to I get a UK0 sticker? Who do I need to contact?
Many thanks
I’m not sure you will ever be able to change the class of your drone. As I understand it, at some point all new drones in the UK market will have to carry the new UK class markings, I haven’t heard anything to say the ability to fly a C classed drone will stop, they will just carry on being the equivalent. I can’t see the CAA saying a brand new Mini 4 pro marked C0 cant fly in the UK, while a UK0 mark one can.

Many thanks for that response. I’m hoping that will be the case.

Only until 31/12/2027. Please see our infographic: fpv.uk/openinfog
I believe that is as of 01/01/2026.
That’s exactly what the regulation says will happen from 01/01/2028.
However, the C0 and UK0 specification is identical, and the manufacturer can self certify. So DJI literally just has to write a declaration of conformity saying that the Mini 4 Pro complies with UK0 specification, which it does, and they’re done. The question is, will they do it?
Many thanks Simon. I hope DJI will provide that
